Camley News 4/08 - Bad Host Bin

WebHost Out of Business: Since Mid March we have been dealing with a major blow to our company. USAWebhosting.biz who we had rented a dedicated server from, Deciced to go out of business without giving us fair warning, and we were unable to recover our backups. We lost approximately a years worth of development projects. Luckily we had some old backups and work folders we were able to recover about 80% of ournetwork. We just purchased a Intel Core2 Duo Quad Q6600, Which should handle all our needs. So Usa Webhosting goes into the bad supplier bin, along with FastServers.net If you are a developer, and Fastservers Approaches you to sponsor your company with hosting, stay away, they will get you in, entice you then cut you off, without warning, as they did with us, we had our whole business with them, and they cut us out. 10 days warning. If you value your company, dont rely upon them. Their great to start out, but we were treated horribly in the last months, very rude and degrading, far up the corporate level.
